2½ cups of wheat flour (350 grams)
1½ cups of sugar (240 grams)
1 cup of milk (240 milliliters)
½ cup bottle butter (100 ml)
3 eggs
1 tablespoon of baking powder
1 teaspoon of orange or lemon zest
How to Make Bottle Butter Cake:
Prepare this bottled butter cake by beating the eggs with sugar and butter for about 3 minutes with an electric mixer on full power.
Tip: Use free range eggs if you want the cake to be very yellow.
Add milk and flour, alternately, while beating. Finally, add the zest and yeast.
Transfer the dough from this butter cake to a greased and floured pan. Bake in a preheated oven at 180ºC for 40-50 minutes, or until you stick a toothpick in the center of the cake and it comes out clean.
Remove the butter cake from a bottle from the oven and let it cool before unmolding. Prepare a sugar and lemon frosting and throw on the cake to make the presentation more perfect. Enjoy the snack with an orange, carrot and ginger juice and good appetite!
