Brazilian lemonade

Brazilian lemonade is a sweet, creamy lemonade and different from the rest, as it is prepared with a secret ingredient: coconut milk. It is also made with whole lemons, which are a great source of vitamin C. If you are not familiar with this drink, which is so popular in some Brazilian states, or if you want to learn how to prepare it, pay attention to this recipe from Specialfood!

Ingredients for making Brazilian Lemonade:

 4 units of tahiti lemon

 1 cup coconut milk

 3 tablespoons of condensed milk

 ¼ cup of brown sugar

 1 cup of ice

3 cups of water (720 milliliters)

How to make Brazilian Lemonade:

To prepare this creamy lemonade start by washing the lemons well, as we will be using the skin as well. Then cut off the tops, cut into pieces and remove the seeds.

Put the lemons in a blender along with the water, and blend very well.

After the previous step, strain this preparation in order to use only the juice.

Rinse the blender glass in water to remove the pieces of skin, and add the juice obtained in the previous step and coconut milk.

To sweeten, add the condensed milk and sugar and, to freeze, the ice cubes. Beat everything and, if you like the less thick lemonade, add a little more water.

Tip: Use ice water so the lemonade will be chilled at the end!

Serve this creamy lemonade right away, or set aside in the fridge to get even colder.

Surprise yourself with this homemade Brazilian lemonade and drink it as a refreshment at any time of the day. Enjoy and let us know what you think!
